Architectural Journalism & Virtual Tours

Maison Louis Carré
Serpentine Pavilion 2024, Minsuk Cho
Nordic Pavilion, Venice Architecture Biennale 2021
Tikkurila Church, Finland

This project explores the intersection of immersive media and architectural storytelling. Born from a collaboration with a Finnish architectural journalist during the global lockdown, the idea was to combine written architectural narratives with interactive virtual tours, allowing readers to engage with articles while exploring the spaces being discussed. The initiative was selected as one of five winners in the Uutisraivaaja media innovation contest, hosted by the Helsingin Sanomat Foundation. The result is archi.tours, a new media platform that currently features 18 immersive virtual stories, including significant architectural works from Finland, the Venice Architecture Biennale 2021, and the Serpentine Pavilions in London. These tours are built using high-quality panoramic photography with embedded story panels that guide visitors through each space while providing context on the architect, historical background, stylistic approach, and materials.

archi.tours offers a fresh way to experience architecture online. Unlike traditional photography, where the perspective is fixed, these panoramic virtual tours allow for free exploration, creating a more dynamic and lifelike encounter with the built environment. Each story is designed to reach global audiences and to provide meaningful cultural content through a digitally sustainable format. This platform aims to bridge the gap between architectural journalism and experiential media by offering readers and viewers a cohesive and engaging journey. By making architecture more accessible through digital storytelling, archi.tours supports cultural exchange and helps share the richness of architectural design with anyone, anywhere.

You are invited to explore more virtual stories at archi.tours, where new projects will continue to be added regularly.

Street View virtual tours are a powerful way for businesses to enhance their Google Maps presence and improve local SEO. By integrating an interactive 360° tour directly into a Google Business listing, potential customers can explore the interior of a business before they visit in person. This added transparency builds trust, increases engagement, and can positively influence search rankings and click-through rates. In this portfolio, you will find 12 examples of businesses that have already benefited from this service, including restaurants, retail shops, medical clinics, wedding venues, and showrooms. Each virtual tour is professionally photographed and published on Google Street View, helping businesses showcase their space and stand out in local search results.

This service is ideal for any business where the atmosphere, layout, or visual presentation of the space plays a role in attracting customers. Whether it’s a gym, hotel, spa, serviced office, museum, or cultural venue, a Street View tour can make a strong first impression and give customers the confidence to choose your business. By offering a virtual walkthrough, these tours give people the ability to experience your space anytime, from anywhere. For businesses looking to boost visibility, build credibility, and connect more effectively with their audience, Street View virtual tours are a smart, scalable solution.
